Opportunity Bank International has officially opened its first branch in the Volta Region, marking a significant milestone in the bank’s expansion strategy. The new branch, located in Kpando Municipality, demonstrates the institution’s commitment to extending financial services to communities across Ghana.
The establishment of the Kpando branch is expected to enhance access to banking services, promote financial inclusion, and support local businesses and entrepreneurs. By providing modern banking facilities, Opportunity Bank aims to empower individuals, traders, and small enterprises to grow and thrive in today’s competitive economy.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Municipal Chief Executive for Kpando, Hon. Killian Donkor, expressed his expectation that the bank will support small and medium-scale enterprises, farmers, and also explore opportunities in housing, agribusiness, eco-tourism, and other sectors that will drive the municipality’s economic growth and improve transportation.
He commended the Municipal Security Council, describing it as one of the best, and emphasized that “capital goes where it feels safe.” He assured the bank that Kpando provides a secure environment for all forms of business.
