HON. KILLIAN DONKOR HOLDS VOLTA NORTH REGIONAL SENIOR POLICE OFFICERS MEETING IN KPANDO

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Kpando, Hon. Killian Donkor, has reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to strengthening collaboration with the Ghana Police Service and other security agencies to safeguard lives and property.

Speaking at the Volta Regional Senior Police Officers Conference in Kpando, Hon. Donkor emphasized that security is a shared responsibility requiring strong cooperation among the Police, MMDAs, traditional authorities, communities, and other stakeholders.

He commended the Police for their professionalism and intensified patrols, which have contributed to reducing crime in the Municipality. He highlighted the Assembly’s support through the rehabilitation of police facilities, refurbishment of patrol vehicles, and installation of streetlights in crime‑prone areas.

The MCE further pledged continued support for the Municipal Security Council and community sensitisation initiatives aimed at curbing drug abuse and mob justice.

The Divisional Police Commander, ACP Raymond Kofi Erzuah, lauded the Assembly’s support, particularly the refurbishment of the Police Headquarters and service vehicles.

Hon. Donkor assured the Police Command of the Assembly’s sustained partnership, stressing that “without security, there can be no meaningful development.”
