HON. JOHN DUMELO (DEPUTY MINISTER FOR FOOD AND AGRICULTURE) VISITS KPANDO DZIGBE’S 2,500-ACRE AFARINIK SUSTAINABLE COCOA FARM & TORKOR IRRIGATION DEVELOPMENT FACILITY

The Municipal Chief Executive for Kpando, Hon. Killian Donkor, joined the Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture, Hon. John Dumelo, together with the Member of Parliament for Kpando, Hon. Sebastian Deh, on a working visit to the 2,500-acre Afarinik Sustainable Cocoa Farm at Kpando Dzigbe—recognized as Ghana’s largest cocoa farm situated on a single stretch of flat land—and the Torkor Irrigation Development Facility within the Kpando Municipality.

The Afarinik Sustainable Cocoa Farm at Kpando Dzigbe highlights the immense agricultural potential of the municipality. The visit reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to advancing modern agriculture, empowering farmers and youth, and strengthening food security through strategic investments.
