The Kpando Municipal Assembly convened a stakeholder meeting at the Assembly Hall to officially hand over project documents to contractors for the construction of the 24-Hour Market. During the session, the project consultants delivered a presentation showcasing the 3D design of the proposed market to stakeholders.
In attendance were the Member of Parliament for Kpando, Hon. Sebastian Deh, the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Killian Donkor, the Divisional Police Commander, traditional leaders, market women leaders, assembly members, and staff of the Municipal Assembly.
Following the engagement, the team proceeded to the project site for inspection and the official handover from the Kpando Municipal Assembly to Empire Consultant, marking the commencement of work. The project is scheduled to begin on 30th May 2026 and is expected to be completed by 29th May 2029.
