On Thursday, 30th April 2026, the Kpando Municipal Assembly reached a significant milestone in its pursuit of sustainable economic development as the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Killian Donkor, joined the Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, and fellow MMDCEs at the Volta Regional Coordinating Council to formalize contracts under the Government’s 24-Hour Economy Initiative. This ceremonial signing marks a strategic transition from policy formulation to tangible implementation, setting the stage for a comprehensive enhancement of the region’s commercial infrastructure. The project is meticulously designed to deliver state-of-the-art market facilities and revitalized trading environments, underpinned by the robust security and reliable utility systems necessary to sustain an around-the-clock business cycle.
