Ghana Enterprise Agency, in partnership with Mastercard Foundation, has presented start-up kits to twenty-eight (28) female graduates under the BizBox Project at the Kpando Business Resource Centre. The beneficiaries, who are dressmakers and hairdressers, received essential tools to help establish their businesses as part of efforts to empower women, promote entrepreneurship, and reduce youth unemployment.
Mr. Prince Anku, Head of the Centre, urged the graduates to use the items responsibly, noting that monitoring would be conducted. Representing the Municipal Chief Executive, Killian Donkor, Assistant Director Mr. Mark Ahiave commended the beneficiaries and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting artisans and expanding opportunities in vocational trades.
