SENSITIZATION ON MSME CLASSIFICATION

The Head of the Kpando Business Resource Centre (BRC) officially opened the MSME Classification sensitization program by outlining its purpose and encouraging full participation. He shared the transition from BAC to BRC and explained key elements of Regulation 2023, LI2470—its purpose, application, criteria, and interpretation. Participants were urged to engage with the BRC for business support and to build networks for stronger MSME collaboration in the municipality.

Although the program began an hour later than scheduled, due to follow-up calls, turnout was strong and the event was successful.

Recommendations:

• Establish a platform for MSME networking and stakeholder engagement.
• Organize further training on regulatory compliance, SSNIT, business permits, and formalization.
