The Volta River Authority, in collaboration with the Management of Kpando Municipal Assembly, donated some textbooks to the three Senior High Schools in the Municipality. The textbooks covered the three core subjects, Maths, Science, and English language.
The donation held on Tuesday 6th September 2022 was part of the Authority’s Corporate Social Responsibility to the Municipality for holding a stake in the Volta River which spans across a portion of the Municipality. The beneficiary schools were Kpando Senior High School, Bishop Herman College, and Kpando Technical Institute.
The Municipal Chief Executive of Kpando Municipal Assembly, Hon. Geoffrey Kodzo Badasu expressed gratitude to the Authority for the donation and assured them of the Assembly’s support. He also urged the Authority to continue the kind gesture, to strengthen ties between both parties.
The Authority also made a similar donation to three Senior High Schools in the North Dayi District in the Volta Region.
