The Physical Planning Department of the Kpando Municipal Assembly embarked on a sensitization program at Gbefi-Tornu On 22 April 2022 to educate the community on development applications and permit acquisition. The exercise was attended by the Chief and his elders, the Assemblyman of the area, Opinion Leaders, and the entire community of Gbefi Tornu.
In the opening address, the chief stated the significance of Planning and the need for landowners to allow town and Country Planning of the Assembly to properly plan the town. He also added that this engagement was to strengthen the good relationship between the community members and the Municipal Assembly as a whole.
Questions asked were duly responded to, by the team from the physical planning department.
The meeting ended with the head of physical planning advising that, communities need a proper layout for accessibility, convenience, effective land use, and harnessing the potential of the area in accordance with Certificate of habitation LI
2384, 2019.
