In response to an appeal made by Kpando Municipal Assembly, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints donated some relief items to the Assembly on Thursday 16th November, 2023 donated some relief items for distribution to flood victims at Torkor and Gborfe communities.
The items were received at a mini durbar organized by the Management of the Assembly, with the church officials from the head office and some chiefs from the Municipality in attendance.
The items which included rice, oil, mackerel, mattresses, aqua-tabs, blankets, mosquito nets, sanitary pads and toiletries were distributed to the victims at Torkor and Gborfe, by NADMO officials and the Municipal Chief Executive, on Tuesday 21st November, 2023.
