Management of Kpando Municipal Assembly, together with Management of Topiga Farms at Gbefi donated relief items worth thousands of cedis to flood victims at Dafor-Tornu on Friady, November 3, 2023.
The donation was made in response to the recent flooding situation that affected certain parts of country.
The items presented included rice, sugar, tins of mackerel, can of sardine, mattresses, oil, mosquito nets, blankets and fruits (pineapple and pawpaw).
Receiving the items, the Assemblyman of both communities the opinion leaders expressed their gratitude to the Municipal Assembly, NADMO and Tropiga Farms and the for their benevolence. They stated that the items would go a long way to help the community to recover from the floods.
The Assemblyman seized the opportunity to call on other organizations and individuals to aid the affected communities.
