The Department of Agriculture in the Kpando Municipality led by Hon. Geoffrey K Badasu (MCE for Kpando Municipal) on 20th June 2024 distributed farm inputs and fertilizers to some selected victims of Akosombo Dam Spillage. The dam spillage devastated numerous farming communities, leading to significant loss of crops, livestock, and farming infrastructures of which some communities in the Kpando Municipality were not exempted.
