The Volta Regional Coordinating Council (VRCC) organized a one-day training program for staff of Kpando Municipal Assembly on Client Service protocols and Records Management. The workshop, which was held at the Kpando Municipal Assembly Hall, was organized to sensitize the staff of the Assembly on the full roll out of the Client Service Unit as a Class in Local Government Service.
The workshop was patronized by Heads of Department and Unit of the Assembly and their direct reports.
Participants were lectured in the protocols of processing clients who visit the Institution, processing complaints and enquiries, liaising between clients and the Institution, processing feedback of services delivered among others. The participants were also made to stage demonstrations of the various protocols to assess their understanding of the modules.
According to the facilitators, there would be regular client service trainings for staff of the various Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) to attain a top-notch service delivery across the country.
The Regional Human Resource Manager, Mr. Daniel Gbologah urged the staff to cooperate with the Records Management Unit to establish a staunch record keeping system for the Assembly.
