KPANDO MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY EXTENDS SUPPORT TO 70 PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

The Kpando Municipal Assembly has provided vital assistance to 70 Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) through the District Assembly Common Fund – Persons with Disabilities Allocation (DACF–PWDA). The support focused on education, healthcare, and caregiver services to empower beneficiaries and enhance their overall quality of life.

Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Killian Donkor, encouraged beneficiaries to use the funds strictly for their intended purposes to ensure meaningful impact. Later, Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Gilbert Akaba, presented the cheques to the recipients and outlined the guidelines for disbursement.

The Municipal Social Welfare Officer, Mr. Divine Gati, reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to supporting all PWDs within the municipality, emphasizing inclusivity and sustainable empowerment.
