HON. KILLIAN DONKOR ENGAGES GHANA WATER COMPANY TO ADDRESS MUNICIPAL WATER CHALLENGES

Hon. Killian Donkor, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Kpando, paid a working visit to the Ghana Water Company Limited in Kpando, accompanied by his team of engineers and the coordinating director. The visit aimed to provide firsthand insight into the company’s operations while strengthening collaboration with the management team.

During discussions, Hon. Donkor sought clarification on the recent water shortages affecting the municipality and explored potential solutions. The municipal manager outlined key challenges, including weak pipelines that frequently burst under pressure when machines operate at full capacity. Additionally, concerns were raised about the increasing cost of water connections for domestic use, which has seen significant price hikes.
